
Grungy Stylized Character Base – Rigged + 2D Sprite Face System (Blender)

this lil fella was originally built for a parody co-op game about gambling (yes, really). he was meant to be the player’s active ragdoll body — all physics, chaos and regret. project died from too much scope + me being a novice coder, but i dug him out the archives and went “damn this dude actually kinda fire.” so here he is, re-rigged, reborn, and ready to haunt ur Blender scene.
💀 Features (yes, actual working ones):
- ADVAnCED IK / FK targeting rig (fancy bones do fancy things)
- Constraint-based setup for easy posing + animation
- Fully functional 2D sprite face system – drop ur own eyes & mouth textures and boom, emotions
- Procedural grunge pixel-art shader so he always looks like he hasn’t showered since 2003
- Clean topology, easy to edit, zero NFTs inside.
🧠 Tech Stuff:
- Format:
.blend - Eye rig uses shader trickery – you’ll need custom logic if u chuck it into Unity / Godot
- Works in Blender 3.0+ (probably also in Blender 2077, idk i’m not there yet)

Personal + Commercial use (just don’t resell the raw model or claim it’s ur OC “Greg” or somethin).

You’ll also find the original Aseprite files for the face sprites if you wanna remix, recolor, or just admire the pixel-eyeball craftsmanship. Oh also OG high res sculpt in the blend.
⚠️ Note for Game Engine Users:
The 3D mesh + rig export fine as .fbx, but the 2D sprite face system + procedural shader are Blender-specific.
If you’re importing into Unity, Godot, Unreal, etc, you’ll need to make a custom material and logic to recreate the sprite-based face system.
For that reason, this pack only includes the .blend project files (no .fbx), so what you see is exactly what you get — working, inside Blender.
